Key Features:
Beeswax candles offer a range of unique benefits that make them a natural, eco-friendly choice for any home. They burn cleanly, releasing little to no soot or harmful toxins, unlike many paraffin candles, which can release pollutants into the air. In fact, beeswax candles produce negative ions when burned, helping to purify the air by neutralizing dust, allergens, and other pollutants. With a slower burn rate, beeswax candles last longer, offering better value over time. They emit a subtle, natural honey-like scent, free from artificial fragrances, making them ideal for creating a calming atmosphere. Beeswax is a renewable, biodegradable resource, and burning these candles supports sustainable beekeeping practices, helping to protect vital bee populations. Additionally, beeswax candles are hypoallergenic, making them a great option for those with sensitivities. Their warm golden hue and natural, rustic appearance also add an elegant touch to any room, making them both a practical and beautiful addition to your home.
HOW TO BURN A BEESWAX CANDLE
1. Place on a Safe Surface: Set the candle on a heat-resistant, stable surface, away from drafts, flammable materials, and small children or pets.
2. Light the Candle: Use a long lighter or match to light the wick. Allow the candle to burn for a few minutes until the wax melts to the edge of the container (this helps prevent tunneling).
3. Burn for Optimal Time: To get the best burn and scent throw, allow the candle to burn for 2-4 hours at a time. Never burn the candle for more than 4 hours at once, and always extinguish the flame if it gets too low in the container.
4. Extinguish the Flame Safely: Use a candle snuffer or gently blow out the flame. Be careful not to splatter hot wax.
5. Let the Wax Solidify: After extinguishing, allow the candle to cool and solidify before relighting or moving it.
6. Re-trim the Wick After Each Use: For a cleaner burn and longer life, trim the wick each time before relighting.
