Ingredients

  • 6 TBSP Cold Butter
  • 2 cups Flour
  • 1 TBSP Baking Powder, heaping
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1½ cups Milk

Directions

  1. Preheat Oven at 425F
  2. Cut butter into cubes and add to a medium sized bowl
  3. Add flour, baking powder and salt
  4. Use a pastry cutter to roughly mix
  5. Add milk and mix thoroughly with spoon. Dough should be thick and fluffy, but not dry.
  6. Butter 2 9×13 glass casserole dishes and drop the dough out evenly (6 per pan). I like to use a spatula and a knife or you can use a spoon and your fingers!
  7. Place in hot oven and bake for 15-20 mins or until bottoms are golden brown
  8. Serve with extra butter, jam and a side of eggs.
