The Process
The Frankincense Resin Extract Powder is what is left after the distillation of the resin. Essential oils are removed during the distillation process, resulting in a substance rich in Boswellic Acid, a key bioactive compound that cannot pass through the distillation phase. As a result, this valuable Boswellic Acid is concentrated solely within this residual biomass. To produce the powder, the remaining biomass undergoes a thorough drying process to completely remove any water content and then is finely ground, ready to be infused into a carrier oil or lotion.
To Use
Our Frankincense (Boswellia Carteri) Resin Extract Powder is in its raw form. We recommend using 1 teaspoon of the powder with 4 oz of lotion or 6 oz of carrier oil like black seed oil, jojoba or rosehip. We recommend infusing the powder into a carrier oil for no less than 2 weeks. For carrier oil infusions, be sure to strain with organic cheesecloth or for lotion, there is no need for straining.
