Meet Rachel
Rachel's journey into the world of organic living began with a pivotal moment shared with her best friend, Kortney. Kortney was the first to introduce Rachel to the unsettling realities hidden within the ingredients of our everyday food products. Together, they embarked on a mission, meticulously scanning labels and researching the components of the products they used, uncovering the widespread presence of harmful chemicals and misleading claims.
This eye-opening experience sparked a deep and enduring passion in Rachel for organic living. She became committed to a lifestyle that prioritizes health, sustainability, and transparency. Rachel's dedication goes far beyond simply choosing organic products; she has embraced a holistic approach that includes growing her own organic food, supporting local farmers, and advocating for sustainable practices in every aspect of her life.

Nathan & Rachel ~ Owners of Rosy Hill Organics
We are a regenerative organic farm located in York County, South Carolina, proudly serving our local neighbors and the surrounding Charlotte area. At Rosy Hill Organics, we believe that eating organic produce and organic, ethically raised eggs and meat is the best way to maintain a happy, healthy body. It is important to know where our food comes from, how it is grown and what it is fed. We grow all of our produce and eggs free of GMOs, pesticides, herbicides, chemical fertilizers, antibiotics, vaccines, soy, and medicated feed. We use natural ways to remove pests from the gardens with inter-crop planting, hand removal, and flowers to attract natural predators.
Our Oils
We responsible source our organic oils and essential oils and test for quality, smell and color before use. We never source oils grown or manufactured in China. All of our oils are organic, cold pressed, and solvent-free/hexane-free.
Our infusions, creams, and serums are all handmade and hand-poured. Many of our products are our own proprietary recipes and are unique in how we choose to infuse oils with herbs over using extracts. None of our products contain preservatives and are 100% organic, unless noted. If an ingredient is not certified organic, we source wild grown herbs or grass-fed/grass-finished tallow. When we find a a higher quality ingredient, we are committed to increase quality without increased pricing in order to keep our products affordable.
Our Handmade Goods
All of our handmade items are made in-house and by Rachel. We only choose to make products we find useful in our own home with 100% cotton fabrics we would decorate with. Our Organic Baby collection is made entirely of certified organic cotton - even the thread.
Our Chickens
Our chickens are not just any ordinary chickens. They reside in spacious coops that we custom designed and built. In line with our family's penchant for distinctive names, each of our chickens has been given a unique name that perfectly describe their quirky, distinctive character traits.
During the day, our layers explore every corner of our property basking in the warm sunshine, hungrily scavenging for delicious greens and protein-rich bugs that keep them going.
