Product FAQ

How do I use the rose quartz roller?
Gently roll onto desired areas such as brows, lashes, cuticles, dry patches, on stomach for constipation, sore joints, or areas needing extra moisture.
What is hexane-free castor oil?
Hexane-free castor oil is extracted without chemical solvents, helping preserve the oil’s natural integrity and purity.
Can castor oil be used daily?
Many people enjoy incorporating castor oil into their daily skincare and wellness routines as part of a nourishing self-care ritual.
What are the benefits of castor oil and frankincense together?
Castor oil and frankincense work well together because they combine deep nourishment with skin-supportive botanical compounds. Castor oil is rich in fatty acids that deeply moisturize, soften dry areas, and help support the skin’s natural barrier. Frankincense is known for its soothing and skin-toning properties, helping promote a smoother, more even-looking complexion. Together, they create a blend that hydrates, calms, and supports skin renewal, making it especially popular for dry, mature, or uneven skin.
How to infuse frankincense resin into castor oil?
Frankincense resin is slowly infused into castor oil over time to extract beneficial compounds. Our Frankincense Resin Infused Castor Oil is infused with our Frankincense Resin Extract Powder for 8+ weeks and then strained.
What is organic castor oil good for?
Organic castor oil is best known for its deeply moisturizing and soothing properties. It’s rich in ricinoleic acid, a fatty acid that helps soften dry skin, support the skin barrier, and lock in moisture. It’s commonly used to help nourish rough areas, condition eyelashes and brows, and support a more hydrated, supple-looking complexion. Some people also use it as a gentle carrier oil for blending with more active botanicals. Because it’s thick and highly concentrated, a little goes a long way!
Does castor oil help with Demodex?
Castor oil is sometimes used in natural skincare routines aimed at supporting a healthier skin environment, but there is no strong clinical evidence that it directly eliminates or treats Demodex mites. What it may do is help indirectly. Castor oil contains ricinoleic acid, which has antimicrobial and anti-inflammatory properties. By supporting the skin barrier and reducing dryness or irritation, it may make the skin less hospitable to overgrowth conditions, but it is not a targeted treatment for Demodex. If Demodex is a concern (especially with rosacea-like symptoms), it’s best to rely on proven medical treatments and view castor oil as a supportive moisturizer, not a primary solution.
What is the healthiest brand of castor oil?
Look for organic, cold-pressed, hexane-free castor oil packaged in glass, like our Organic Castor Oil.
Does castor oil help with fungal issues?
Castor oil is sometimes used in natural skincare for its antimicrobial and anti-inflammatory properties, but there is no strong clinical evidence that it directly treats fungal infections. It contains ricinoleic acid, which may help support a healthier skin environment and reduce irritation, but fungal issues like yeast overgrowth or ringworm typically require targeted antifungal treatments to fully resolve. So while castor oil may be helpful as a supportive moisturizer for dry or irritated skin, it shouldn’t be relied on as a primary treatment for fungal concerns.
What is a roll-on castor oil good for?
A roll-on makes castor oil easy to apply to targeted areas of the body.
